Built upon the idea that marketing is a multi-faceted and fast-paced field, the Graduate Marketing Club hosts a variety of networking opportunities, guest speakers, and company visits to help students become both competitive recruiting candidates and valuable employees.
What We Do
We collaborate with faculty, alumni, fellow MBA programs, and other players in the marketing community to facilitate real-life learning opportunities in everything from brand management to digital marketing and analytics. Whether you’re an experienced marketer or new to the field, the Graduate Marketing Club serves as a platform to share knowledge, resources, and passion for marketing’s many dimensions and opportunities.

Clay Knobloch
President
My name is Clay Knobloch, and I’m the president of the Marketing Club and a second-year MBA candidate at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. Originally from Austin, TX, I began my career at GLG in market research, supporting clients across the CPG, retail, healthcare, finance, food & beverage, and sports industries before transitioning to the firm’s business development team. Most recently, I served as a brand management intern at Reckitt, working on the Lysol brand. As president, my focus this year is on engaging our incoming first-year students, strengthening connections across the program, and expanding opportunities for members to network with marketing professionals across industries. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Christine Anthony
Co-Vice President
Hi! My name is Christine, and I am the Co-Vice President of the Marketing Club and a second-year MBA candidate at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. I graduated from Fairfield University with a degree in Marketing and a minor in English. Before graduate school, I worked as a legal assistant at a workers’ compensation law firm and as a social media coordinator in retail. Most recently, I spent the summer as a Marketing MBA Intern at Patient Funding Alternatives, where I worked on digital marketing and brand strategy. I’m excited to meet new students and contribute to the BC community. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Emily Ryan
Treasurer
My name is Emily Ryan, and I am the treasurer of the marketing club! I’m a second-year MBA candidate at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. I’m originally from Princeton, NJ and attended Northeastern University, where I studied cell and molecular biology. Before business school, I worked in clinical research and later transitioned into digital marketing analytics. Most recently, I spent the summer in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, as an M&A Finance Intern at Viet Thai International, where I supported the team on M&A transactions and strategic initiatives. As a member of the Marketing Club, I’m excited to connect with fellow students and contribute to the BC community. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

Obakai Grandisson
Co-Vice President
My name is Obakai Grandisson, and I’m the Co-Vice President of the Marketing Club and an MBA candidate at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management (Class of 2027). My marketing career spans global beauty, consumer product development, and strategic communications. This past summer, I interned in Global Marketing at Estée Lauder Companies in New York City, supporting go-to-market strategy for the Daywear skincare franchise. Before business school, I spent two years at SharkNinja as Brand Marketing Manager for Shark Beauty Hair Care and later as a Program Manager for Ninja’s indoor cooking portfolio, and before that I served eight years as a Marketing and Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corps. I’m a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and hold an MA in Strategic Communication from Texas Tech University. I look forward to connecting with fellow students passionate about brand strategy and consumer marketing!
