Mission

The goal of the Graduate Finance Association is to provide educational, networking, and career opportunities to its members.

What We Do

The club will host educational workshops to develop skills, networking opportunities with alumni and industry professionals, both on campus and at corporate offices, as well as assist students in pursuing job opportunities in financial services. This club welcomes both members who have industry experience and those pursuing a career change.

Leadership

Jaebaek Lee
President

Jaebaek is a Dual MBA/MSF candidate at the Carroll School of Management. He has a background in software engineering, and holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. Most recently, he interned at Mirova, a long-only ESG fund as a Fundamental Equity Analyst.

Sawyer Nolan
Vice President

Sawyer is an MBA candidate in Carroll School of Management with an interest in investment management. Prior to enrolling in the MBA program, Sawyer worked for four years as a Credit Counselor for the non profit organization American Consumer Credit Counseling, where he helped clients manage their personal finances and formulate strategies to become debt-free. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a focus in Finance and a minor in Economics. Post MBA he plans to build a career in the buy-side of the investment management industry.

Vincent Sansone
Director of Investment Management

Vincent is an MBA candidate in the Carroll School of Management with an interest in equity research and investing. He has a background in investing and 6 years of experience in the financial services industry at Morgan Stanley in New York and Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business where he was also a member of the football team.

Caelan Doyle
Director of Marketing

Caelan Doyle is a first-year MBA candidate at the Boston College School of Management. Before business school, Caelan served as a Wealth Management Associate at Merrill Lynch, where he specialized in portfolio performance analysis and risk management for a client base of 3,100 households. His experience includes forecasting future portfolio performance under various market scenarios and implementing data-driven strategies that improved operational efficiency. Caelan holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude) from the University at Buffalo.

John Mazza
Director of Real Estate Finance

John is an MBA candidate at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management with an extensive background spanning commercial real estate from owner’s project management on large-scale development projects to investment analysis. John also held operations and strategy roles with both organizations and startup companies, as well as a former NY Yankees MILB player.
